19th Century Victorian cast-iron tiled fireplace combination.
This original "Rotherham" fireplace recently salvaged from a London city bank during its renovations has been fully cleaned and blackened to its original finish. Remarkably its original and appealing set of glazed ceramic fireplace tiles are also intact.
The word combination, reflects that the fireplace has been cast with both the insert and the surround as one casting. This fireplace has a proud bow fronted frieze, floral patterned canopy hood, set of front bars, original fire back with firebrick. This "combination" is also relatively easy to install given the original fixing lugs remain.
